I must say I was a little disappointed by the Marc Jacobs spring 2006 collection. His fall collection was critisized for being too shapeless, but I think he pulled it off more then than he did now. Now I don’t know. It’s both dark and shapeless, and this is for spring! Have a look at this and let me know what you think. I have of course picked some of the bad examples, but anyway…

The last one I think is kind of cute, but it’s too depressing for spring. I say women have curves for a reason, so why should we hide them in baggy clothes?

A great idea for all broke girls with a closet out of style is to host a swap party. Invite all your best friends and make them bring clothes they don’t wear anymore and start swapping. It’s like they say about men; one womans trash is another womans trasure. This is the time to dig out all the clothes that don’t fit anymore or that you’re just sick of. You can almost be certain that someone else will love it. And in return you’ll get something new.

I’ve tried this a few times and it really works. Make it into a nice evening and serve some snacks and drinks. It’ll be like a good old fashion slumber party! When you’re done swapping you’re probably ready to hit the clubs in your new outfits.
