Button Up
Right now you’ll see buttons on everything, even shoes and handbags are decorated with buttons. And where you’ll ordinarily would find buttons, like on jackets, these are much bigger than usual this fall. Here by John Galliano and Dolce & Gabbana. Shoes are from Irregular Choise and handbag from Paul Smith.

To get the style without spending too much money you can always freshen up old clothes with a handful of buttons. How about sewing buttons on the neckline of a t-shirt. Or change the buttons on an old jacket. Or make a button necklace like the one I’ve posted here. Or make button cufflinks same way these cufflinks are made. Or glue bottons to an old pair of pumps. Or sew buttons on an old knitted hat like this one from Marni’s 2002 collection:

The possibilities are endless. The best thing is that this style is both cheap and easy to recreate.
