Fashion Week Leftovers - New York
I have covered many of the biggest, but not necessarily the best. To wrap up, here’s some of my favorite looks from the rest of it.
How to make grey great:
There was alot of grey on the runways, which can become boring. Grey can also look great done in the right way.

Jenny Kayne, Wunderkind, Bill Blass and Brian Reyes.
Don’t be afraid of color even though it’s fall:
One of the things that disappointed me with the collection was the lack of color, so these may brighten up a rainy day.

Derek Lam, Matthew Williamson, TSE and Proenza Schouler.
You can still show off that waist:
In hope of that this trend will last for many years to come.

Derek Lam, Temperley, Brian Reyes and Temperley again.
Black all around:
Like grey, black was a frequent color. This is an easier color to work with, but can still get a little dull. Not these though.

Behnaz Sarafpour twice, Derek Lam and Proenza Schouler.
Dresses:
Not that much empire waist anymore but go for a waist belt.

Brian Reyes, Donna Karan, Peter Som and Zac Posen.
The best of the rest:

Derek Lam, Matthew Williamson, Donna Karan, and Matthew Williamson again.
From this I guess I can say that my favorites from the rest are Matthew Williamson, Derek Lam and Brian Reyes.
