Alberta Ferretti

At first glance I can’t help to think that there is a little too much going on here. The dresses have so many details that even though I like them now, I might hate them tomorrow. I like my clothes to be much more simple so I can update them with accessories. Now people that have the money to buy these clothes don’t need to think the same way. I love the square shaped coat though. It’s really odd and I would probably never wear it, but it looks so interesting! I can’t take my eyes away from it.

I just went “Oh, yes!” when I saw this. It’s exactly the kind of fun I miss from fashion elsewhere. This is perfect.

Back in the Flea Hunting Game

Filed in: Accessories, Fashion, Secondhand, Shoes, Shopping

This month I thought I’d do less shopping in stores and more shopping on flea markets. First of all I have to make sure my money last a little longer this time than last month. Secondly I feel like it’s been forever since I made some fun vintage finds. Here are some of the stuff I’ve come across the last few days.

fanny pack A few people has announced the return of the fanny pack. This has never been for me, but when I came across this weird fanny pack thing for a couple of dollars I just had to give it a shot. If the look doesn’t work for me I can remove the pack from the belt and have a perfectly fine leather belt.
studded belt This belt is for my motorcycle badass or punk rocker days. It cost me a dollar and is leather so it was all worth it.
polka dot umbrella Polkadots are hot for spring, and this plastic umbrella will get me in a rainy polkadot mood. Another dollar was spent on this one.
necklace chains I did a few H&M buys as well, and I got this necklace marked down 70%. I didn’t like it to begin with, but when I realized it was the exact same color as a handbag I bought secondhand (that is actually Topshop) I thought it could make a fun kind of 80’s outfit.
shoes These shoes I believe are really old, still they have never been worn. They’re in grey suede with leather soles and have cute little bows that doesn’t show very well on the picture. I gave five dollar for these. I don’t need them at all, but they’ll go straight into my collection.
belt Another belt that cost me a dollar. This one is for that wide cinched style. It’s wine colored velvet.
scarf Help me decide on the scarf. I realized that even though I live in one of the coldest countries in the world I have a very small selection of warm scarves. When I saw this it reminded me of Missoni and since it cost no more than four dollars I grabbed it. Now I’m wondering if I should take it back…
