It’s Getting Closer to Spring
Today was one of those days when you can actually feel that winter is starting to let go. It’s still cold but spring is lingering in the air. It gives such a great feeling and is the perfect chance to wear something else than jeans.
Top: Mango
Skirt: Vintage, taylor made, print doesn’t show well but it’s of people walking in a park (Skirt is easy to make if you take a look at this post.)
Tights: Gift from one of my sisters
Pumps: Secondhand
Velvet belt: Secondhand
Velvet clutch: Secondhand (Actually a make up bag.)

THAT IS SOOOOOOO CUTE AGATHE!!!! Winter is hitting us again after nice weather, so no skirts for me until this snow storm blows over. Blah! But, very very very cute. The red belt and clutch really works well with the outfit.

Maybe it’s because I’ve watched Sex & the City and Sarah Jessica Parker movies all weekend, but this outfit is so Charlotte. Completely adorable, and very flattering!

Thank you ever so much guys!
S, I should have a Sex & the City marathon again soon too. It changes my whole way of thinking for a while and I completely fall into this beautiful fantasy world! :)

I love how the red pops and that you didn’t match your bag with your shoes. Very Stylish and Lovely.

Thanks to you too.
Camille, that’s one of the things I’m working on: not matching. I am way to concerned about matching but that can often get boring. It’s difficult though. :P

[…] Filed in: Fashion, Outfits After the last time I wore this skirt I kept thinking of an outfit I had seen in Oscar de la Renta’s spring collection. I found out that it was the perfect outfit to attempt one of my goals: not to obsess too much about matching. Often I need everything to go with each other in a very obvious way while some of the best outfits are actually the ones that look great without matching. You know the outfits where the garments kind of talk together and get along without being best friends. A step in the right direction was to copy something I thought worked. I realize that I didn’t manage to take it all the way though since the shoes and bag still match, but when I tried something else I just felt like it was too much too fast. The skirt seem to have been a good investment. When I bought it I wasn’t sure about it, but now I see it works for those garments in the spring collections that had painting-like prints, and it has a little of that DFV black and white print feeling (doesn’t show well on the picture since it’s so small), and now it can be used as a substitute for Oscar de la Renta. What more can a girl ask for? […]
