Big Collars
Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Trend Alerts
The collar seems to be in focus for fall and I’ve already mentioned all the clown inspired collars that were seen on the runways. A more important keyword though is BIG. Jackets, sweaters, dresses; you’ll find big collars on everything. A couple of designers even took it so far that the collar can be used as a hood. The most accessable for us is probably the knitted sweather with a slouchy collar. I bet many of you already have one in your closet too.

Andrew Gn, Kenneth Cole, Emilio Pucci and D&G.

I love things that wrap around my neck, especially big soft collars like that. Maybe that’s why I wear scarves and hooded shirts so much.
I rented the first season of Sex and The City last night and Carrie reminded me of you when she was broke because she kept on buying $400 shoes.

Hehe. I find it strange that I manage to go on the way I do. :)

I have to admit that am a big fan of the big collars on sweaters. I was doing this long before it became a trend. It’s so verstatile, sometimes the collar is big enough to hang over you coat and be used as a scarf. I love it!
