When I share eBay goodies with you guys I usually end up posting them less than 24 hours before the auction is over. This is because most of the time I keep it in my watch-list intending to think about it, although in most cases I end up not even bidding on the item. So I thought I’d share one that you could actually think about for a while. Hence I came up with this gorgeous houndstooth cropped jacket in a UK 8 size which should be about a US 4. It’s not far off from the jackets both Diane Von Furstenberg and Donna Karan showed for fall. The picture doesn’t do it justice as it is so small and the print kind of fades, so click on the image to see it in it’s full glory.

Today I’m trying out one of the mix and match looks I worked on a couple of days ago. I saw this mix of animal prints and fur in the fall collections, but I didn’t care for it at all. But then my leopard fur fell on top of the leopard t-shirt in the closet and it was just like old friends that had found each other again after a long time apart. I had to give it a shot. It’s raining today (I’m happy as long as it’s not snowing), so I thought it was a perfect trench coat day. I’ve never really thought of using a fur collar with a trench coat before. It seems a little odd to me, but I’m hoping it works.
