There is this whole discussion going on between those who hate leggings and those who love them. I like them, so you’ll probably be seeing them on me from time to time. One of my favorite spring collections is from Anna Sui who used a lot of colorful leggings. I’ve been looking for a suitable floral dress to work the look, but I haven’t had any luck yet, so I just had to go with an old floral dress of mine. I couldn’t decide on the shoes. I had planned to wear the shoes from Mango to the right. I think the wedges I won on eBay would be perfect, but they haven’t arrived yet.

I had a really hard time getting the colors right on the photos cause here the dress is too light and the leggings are too dark. In real life they are a perfect match.

Sometimes I’m a moron. I’ve been searching for colorful leggings for ever with no luck. Then I read a post at Style Tribe where she mentioned how to make them yourself. I’ve thought about cutting tights to make leggings, but I thought they would fray. But she had the perfect answer: cut them off at the toe seam. I feel so silly for not thinking about that myself!

I already had a bunch of colorful tights lying around. I got them really cheap at H&M and for what I know they still have them. They are two different colors in one pack. For some reason I didn’t wear the tights so it was perfect. Today I am celebrating by wearing the outfit inspired by Anna Sui that I have been waiting so long to copy.
