Knee Highs and Thigh Highs
Filed in: Accessories, Designers, Fashion, Trend Alerts
I love anything that can help me keep warm enough to wear skirts as long as possible into fall/winter. Opaque tights are what seem to rule fashion on that area next fall, especially black ones. But knee highs and thigh highs also made their mark. I even noticed a few pairs of leg warmers which would work for the same purpose.

Moschino, TSE, Neil Barret and Michael Kors.

Knee and thigh highs are so sexy. I remember when the movie Clueless came out, I was in elementary school and I begged my dad to take me to Jones so I could get a pair of white knee highs. I wore them with a short flowered skirt and some really funky/ugly white slide ones.
ok. I love the second outfit. I’ll definitely have to play around with this.

I remember wearing thigh highs back in the 90’s. :) I had a really short black dress with a striped tee and black knee highs. It was my favorite outfit! I wish I had kept some of that stuff.

I agree they look so sexy, and also let you wear a short skirt when it get colder. I used to have some of these back in my school days. Decided I want to try and keep all my clothes now so I wil one day have lots of great vintager to pass on.

I have also decided to keep all my clothes for future children or whatever. :) I regret not keeping some of my old stuff, even though it wouldn’t fit me anymore. I remember having some awful platforms that would be fun to still have. Or maybe more embarassing than fun, but still…

What a great way to update an old look for pretty cheap! I have some good funky kneehighs that I’ll have to dig out.
