How to Be a Budget Fashionista
Filed in: Books, Fashion, Links, Shopping
Today I received the book How to Be a Budget Fashionista in the mail. It’s written by the owner of The Budget Fashionista, a site I have turned to many times for great tips, Kathryn Finney. As soon as I have finished it I’ll give a proper review, but for now I must say that this looks very interesting and perfect for a poor student like myself. It’s avaliable at Amazon for about $10.

Have you read the novel Confessions of a Shopaholic?

No I haven’t, but I’ve heard a lot about it. Is it good? I could need some reading tips for summer and even better if they’re relevant for the blog. :)

I’ve been dying to get my hands on this book. I’m interested to hear your review!

Well to both of you, I loved it! It’s one of those cheesy single girl books that I don’t read in public for fear of public unintellectual self mutilation. I hold onto some sort of intellectual snob thing that just isn’t always true. I honestly love fluff! It’s a quick read, but I’m addicted to the author and anxious to get her latest, The Undomestic Goddess. (Not to mention I am a self proclaimed shopaholic.) Agathe, let’s talk, and I’ll send it to you simply because I adore you and am anxious to hear that you’ve made it through finals, yes?

I know, I have that same snob thing when it comes to books. Usually I spend my summer reading old classics, but it’s about time I read something fun! Why don’t you send me a mail at hello@stylebytes.net - I think that book might be perfect for me! :)
