I bought the dress on eBay for $6.99 and the moment I received it in the mail it became my new favorite dress. I am officially moving in to it now. There’s something magical about it. It probably makes me look big like a tent - it’s almost the size of a tent! But when I put it on I feel like running around barefoot in the grass, stop shaving my arm pits and stop worrying about all the little things that don’t matter anyway.

It feels like the dress and I belong together. Like we were friends in a previous life or something. That’s how comfortable it makes me feel.

If the photo looks weird it’s because I had to shoot it myself with a camera that is too complicated for me to operate. I couldn’t catch the dress in all it’s glory - you can’t even see how huge it is. But I’ll be wearing it again so you’ll see it properly later.

Over the last few months I’ve collected quite a list of great online secondhand stores, and now it’s time to add another one to the list. Ripe Vintage have a great selection of beautiful vintage clothing and accessories - everything priced under $50. Many of the items in the “sold” section make my heart ache, but I guess I just have to keep my eyes open and try to be first in line the next time.

After giving up tanning the normal way as I get so bored I bought Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion yesterday. I have had other brands recommended, but this was staring at me when I was grocery shopping so I just took it with me.

I don’t know whether it’s any good, but I have other products in this line that are among my favorites. I especially love Dove Silkening Body Lotion as it gives a great shimmer to the skin.

I actually love my pale skin, I just want to see how it’s like to be a little tan for once. I put it on when I went to bed last night and had hoped for a slight change today. Nothing. Since it gives color gradually I guess I just have to be patient. I’ll keep you posted on how it works.
