DIY: Chains & Pearls

Filed in: DIY, Designers, Fashion, Jewelry

dsquared chain pearl necklace diy

Many of you probably have a chunky chain necklace lying around and many of you are probably also starting to get sick of them. Dsquared gave me an idea for how to update them a little bit. Simply mix one or two chain necklaces with a few pearl necklaces by braiding the pearls into the chains. Just like that you have a new necklace with a completely different look. I like the idea of the hard chains mixed with the soft pearls.

If you don’t have chain necklaces this size I have often worn chains and pearls at the same time. It gives the same look just in a different way.

I’ve worn my chains with my pearls before but I’ve never thought of entwining them! Interesting idea, it looks really cool in the runway picture.

  11. siewkwan Says:

My friend asked me to do the same with my pearl necklace which is a multi strand necklace but I dunno how! What do you think,Agathe?

  12. Agathe Says:

You may have to take it apart… I can’t think of any smart way of doing it without having to ruin it. It’s probably easy to put back together though when you’re tired of this look…

  13. i Says:

i tried this. my gold chain doesn’t have big holes, so i wound the pearls around and not through the gold. it’s so preety
