There has been a lack of outfit post from me for a few days. The first day I just didn’t get the time. The second day I wasn’t feeling well. Today I was determined to make up for it, but of course that damn camera isn’t in the mood. So, I’ve picked a few street fashion photos from various sites in stead.

Most shirts with french cuffs come with cufflinks made out of little buttons. After I wrote the post yesterday about golden buttons I thought why not make my own cufflinks?

I ended up using the cufflinks that came with the shirt so all I did was changing one of the buttons. You can change both, but one of the buttons have to be small enough to fit the shirt. Use a thread in a wanted color and simply sew the two buttons on to each other. I ended it with spinning the thread around itself until it was pretty thick and tying a good knot. The whole thing was done in about a minute on my first attempt.

By making these cufflinks I incorporated two trends in one: the gold buttons and the masculine looks.

I don’t know whether to love or hate Mischa’s cardigan. I am sick of seeing those skulls everywhere, but at the same time it has such an old school charm to it. The contrast between the two are unexpected. I must admit that I am a sucker for elbow patches too. No matter what side I end up on, she at least managed to have me stop an look at it a second time.
