I went to a couple of flea markets looking for something special. I didn’t find it but brought home a few other things in stead. The faux fur muff was my best buy. I have a real fur muff, but it’s big and not very practical. This one doubles as a purse so I may actually end up wearing it. The belt belongs to a tuxedo and I’m hoping it’ll work for me as well. I love the earrings and I think they’ll come in handy.

My boyfriend had a friend sleeping on the sofa last night, so as the good host I am I got dressed in my 50’s housewife gear this morning and started making breakfast. The apron was purely for practical reasons. When we had eaten we went shopping at a couple of flea markets and I just happened to keep the apron on. Two old ladies came up to me and asked if this was the trend now. They thought it was so adorable! I hope younger people will approve of the look as well.
