Now you can start shopping for fall at La Redoute. I haven’t looked through everything yet, but there seems to be a lot of great stuff, especially knits in all kinds of forms.

This year you have a lot of room for experimenting with different prints and colors. I have almost forgotten about this so it was about time to test it out today. I decided to mix florals with the nautical look.

The skirt was a dress until five minutes before I got dressed. I cut off the top and sewed quickly around the edges. Easy peasy. The top I’ll make into a cropped wrap jacket.

I think I’m developing a thing for big clip earrings as I’ve worn them two days in a row now…

Looking at the outfit now I can see it needs a belt.

I’ve had this little plastic gun lying around forever planning to make something out of it. It never happened and I stuffed it in a box. Yesterday I found it again along with this part of a pin. I put some super glue on them and I had a gun pin.

These pin parts can be bought in lots on places like eBay for very little money. If you have some lying around you can easily turn small findings into pins. Keep an eye open at flea markets and thrift stores for small toys or broken jewelry. I have experienced getting these things for free cause nobody wants them anyway.
