New Bag

Filed in: Fashion, Handbags, Secondhand, Shopping

green leather shoulder bag purse I spent the last of my money on a bottle of Cava and this leather shoulder bag that cost me less than a dollar. I ended up wearing it with today’s outfit cause the clash between the blue skirt and the green bag looked pretty good.

Outfit: My New Skirt and Shoes

Filed in: Fashion, Outfits

blue skirt cognac shoes I bought these tooled leather shoes yesterday at the sale. I had been looking at them for weeks but couldn’t really spend the money on them. Apparently I am the only person in Norway that liked them which is good for me cause I ended up getting them at a very low price. In fact the whole outfit can’t have costed me much.

I think the cognac color goes perfectly with the bright blue and those are two colors I hopefully will be matching a lot during fall. My boyfriend on the other hand doesn’t get the mix of brown shoes with black and blue clothes. He thought I looked crazy.

DIY: Changing Buttons

Filed in: DIY, Fashion

I bought a black coat last year that had the most hideous buttons. I never got to changing them but this year I had to do something. So I bought a handful of gold buttons. It’s really easy to sew the buttons on with a few stitches. Make sure to buy at least one more button than you need and save this in case you lose one of the others.

The look of the jacket was immediately lifted. It was hard to take good pictures cause the gold buttons are so small compared to the jacket. In real life the buttons are actually pretty big.

Roundup: Looks

Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Trend Alerts

These are some of the main trends this fall:

Layering

Probably the most important influence at the same time as it is the most practical. You don’t even have to go shopping to get this trend right, just layer what you’ve already got.

Oversized

Oversize parts of the outfit. If you do all you’ll look big, but choose a big coat or sweater together with something slimmer.

Napoleonic

I’ve picked this from Style. Get inspired by Napoleon. This is not a look I’ll draw much from, except a few details.

Masculine

The masculine look has been big for so long but it’s still important.
