Today’s outfit is simple. I’ve been cleaning up the place and dropping off some old stuff to charity. To go with the tidy apartment it’s nice to wear an outfit without too much fuzz.

Several of you have asked to have a look inside my closet so here it is. Things are a little all over the place so I haven’t caught everything but the main parts are here. Click to view larger.

Shoes

My shoe cabinet is pretty messy and I haven’t got room for everything. Shoes are stored on top of each other and in the last few months I have also been forced to keep a few bags there.

Hangers

Here are my suits, shirts, dresses and skirts. I have a lack of hangers so similar things share hangers.

Shelves

Here are t-shirts, sweaters, tops, vests and so on. The closet is made out of a tiny storage room that we have put shelves in. That way I have kind of a walk in closet. The shelves are so full though that they are starting to bend.

The last shelves are for skirts and boxes with a mix of scarves, belts, suspenders, flower pins, arm warmers and much more.

Floor

At the bottom of the closet I keep some of my bags and boxes of stockings and hair pins.

Jewelry

Most of my jewelry is hanging inside the closet. Earrings and brooches hang on a strip of fabric I’ve fastened inside the door.

Leftovers

As I said my stuff is a little all over the place and here’s some more.

Oversized

Like clothes this season your handbag should be oversized. The bigger the better.

Clutch

The clutch is still the most classy handbag around.

Carry like clutch

If you want to save money on the bag how about carrying it in a new way instead?

Fanny packs

The fanny packs are back although I doubt we’ll be seing a lot of them. I like these simple versions though.

Animal print

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, even your handbag will be suffering from animal prints this season.

One year ago today this blog came to life. I had long been thinking about sharing my DIY projects and other things I was working at. I even made a webpage, but it didn’t get very far. 8th of August 2005 my boyfriend took the initiative. He made sure to set everything up and short after I had posted my very first post (not a very exciting one) and a few hours later my first DIY post. At that time I had no idea that I would keep on doing it for all this time nor that I would get so many fabulous readers! Thank you all for staying with me - I love you all!
