Today I’m going to a vernissage and then to a party. Since I am broke I will have make sure to down as many glasses of wine I can manage during the vernissage (without losing my dignity of course) and then hope it’s enough to stay in good mood for a while at the party. Poor students like me have to do whatever we can to have fun for less.

This outfit makes me feel a little like an old single aunt that is going dancing. I haven’t decided on shoes yet, or on handbag for that matter. I was thinking of my green handbag, but then I concidered my blue shoes… I want something that makes it less matchy. Any ideas?

Long gloves

Long gloves are probably the biggest hit this fall. If you can afford it, get a pair in leather, these will last you long.

It’s gloves in every shape this season, and the smaller gloves can be good to start with before the weather gets cold enough for the long ones.

Arm warmers

Arm warmes can be fun and are especially good for layering.

Stockings

Knee highs or thigh highs, it’s your choice. This trend will keep you warm and make sure you can wear your skirts, shorts and dresses longer into fall than usual.
