Roundup: Details
Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Trend Alerts
We’ve come to the last of the roundup posts, and today we’ll have a look at the little things that were left out of the rest.
Gold buttons
This is probably as far as I’ll go with the Napoleonic influence.

Harlequin collars
If you want something that lasts don’t go for these, but if you want something trendy but still out of the ordinary, these collars are perfect.
Embroidery
One of the most luxurious details on the runway.

Belted coats
The belted waist continues to be the thing. During winter you can belt up your coat as well.

Military details
The military jacket from last year has now been swapped with smaller details. Find a nice medal secondhand or look for copies.

Black tights
Black tights were a part of about half the outfits on the runway, or at least it could seem that way. Invest in a nice pair of tights. If you’re not a fan of black tights, go for a pair of ribbed tights in gray.

yay roundup!!
Heheh these make me so happy lol..
Personally I love the belted waist and Napoleon theme, and I don’t think intricate embrodery ever goes out of style in my mind. Still kinda sketchy on the harlequin collars though, I don’t think I could ever pull it off!
Anywho, thanks for your blog =)

Yeah, I can agree with you on the collars, not the easiest to pull off. I’d have to try it on to know for sure though, but I’m not planning on spending money on it. :)
