Outfit: Step by Step
As a step in my treatment for fashion depression I went shopping. I was planning on returning one of the items as you know. Suddenly I realized something. There was this shirt that I had been looking at several times and liked but never bought - I could not live without this any longer. So I took the cardigan back and swapped it for the shirt. They only had one left that was two sizes too big. I thought it would never work, but it fit perfectly. Talk about luck!
It’s in a silk and cotton blend. It has a slight androgynous/school boy look. I love it. All of a sudden I had an outfit in my mind. I don’t know if my depression is cured for good, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.
Shorts: H&M

Gloria, if they won’t cost you too much I’d go for them. When there are things I like I often regret not getting them in more colors, and then you don’t have to worry about losing one.
Sarah-Jean and Eli, thanks! :)

Jezmine, thank you for your ideas! The ribbon does come of. It’s fastened by a button in the back.
Gloria, my boyfriend’s birthday is coming up too! I haven’t heard of Porter Tokyo but a suitcase sounds like a good idea. I don’t dare to write here what I’m thinking in case he reads it… I hate searching for the perfect boyfriend gift because it’s so difficult. What I have gotten him before that he has loved are photo books, cufflinks, shoes… I think that’s all I can remember at the moment! Good luck! :)

I love the red shoes, I really want a pair. I’ve seen some cheapish ones (they’re leather though) but I really shouldn’t spend anymore on shoes right now!
