The trip to my mom’s house as usual caused me bringing more stuff home than I brought there. A lot of nice old kitchen wear was part if it, but also some wearable stuff.

A big box full of old buttons belonged to my grandmother on my father’s side. She was well over a 100 when she died a few months ago, so she had saved a lot of great stuff. Many of these buttons are very old and made of wood and bone. My favorite thing in this box is probably the “rock ‘n’ roll” pin that someone has made in lack of stores on the tiny island they lived on. This is just a very small selection of what was in that box.

I also found my white shoulder bag from when I was little. The silk scarf belonged to my grandmother on my mother’s side. I love stuff that has a bit of history.
