My boyfriend and I love cooking and we always make too much food. It’s nice to share this with friends once in a while. Today we’re having bacalao with fish my dad have caught and dried himself.

I’m trying to wear a more random outfit after my thoughts on style envy. It was an attempt to go for the first things that caught my eye in the closet. With practise I might hopefully get good at it.

Wearing a scarf like this is very popular among people like the lead singer, Mariann Thomassen, in the Norwegian band Surferosa.

There are some of those people that seems to just have a natural gift when it comes to style. It looks like they throw on the most random things, but still they manage to look like the most stylish people in the world. It’s easy to secretly hate these people just a little bit because they make others feel like amateurs.

I saw one of them at the concert last night. She can wear the weirdest things and it just looks so cool. Yesterday she wore a top that looked like a potato sack, tired old jeans with holes in them and earrings I would never have paired with that outfit. Still my jaws dropped in amazement. I could not believe how she managed to have things look so random but still so cool. Once she wore a hoody and leggings, nothing special in it self, but it looked amazing. What is it I don’t get?

For now I’ll observe these people and maybe it’ll give me some pointers along the way. I guess I just have to learn to trust my inner style voice a 100%. Like in other situations where the first thought you get is often the best, maybe the first outfit combo that falls into your mind is the one to go for. My ultimate style goal is becoming one of them; throwing on the first thing I find in the closet and walk down the street looking like the queen of the world.
