Inspired by dresses in Anna Sui and Luella’s collections, I decided to make a similar dress myself. It’s not nearly as difficult as it sounds. All you need is one black dress that has a round collar and one white crochet collar (you’ll easily find one at a flea market or on eBay). To secure the collar on dress you can sew a few hand stitches. Don’t do too many as you still want the possibility to wear the dress without it’s collar. If you want it easier to take off you can fasten the collar with a safety pin in the back and use a brooch to hold the two ends in place.

I’m addicted to the socks I ordered and I plan on wearing them a lot.

Each fall I usually treat myself with one new coat. So far this year I haven’t bought any but if I do it’ll probably be at Zara. They have the most amazing winter coats, my favorite being the one in the first picture. I can just imagine how wonderful my life would be if I could strut down the street in that.
