A new season is the time for all those “what’s hot or not” lists and pleated skirts and the 70’s are two of the things I’ve seen on the not list. So what do I do? I go out buying three A-line skirts from the 70’s, one of them pleated. No matter what the style is these kinds of skirts are both slimming and lengthening. And I got them very cheap at about $5 each.
The next thing I bought isn’t exactly on the top ten list of trendy items either. It’s a black and silver batwing sleeve sweater from the 80’s. It’s perfectly ugly to make it exactly as cool looking as I want it. The 80’s never seem to die on the streets anyway. I kind of feel like I’ve put in a fight for everything that isn’t trendy today.

I’ve been a little slow on my outfit posts lately so today I’ll post two. First out is my shopping outfit. I woke up a bit late and didn’t have time to wash my hair and I had slept with a pony tail so I just left it in. What’s better with a messy bedroom look than wearing a hoody and some glamorous earrings? It’s a very sloppy outfit, but still I felt kind of good in it.
