Purple
Purple is my new favorite color. This color used to be my favorite many years ago as well. Half my wardrobe was purple. Then I got so sick of it that I couldn’t stand the color anymore. The last couple of years I’ve warmed up to it again without really wearing it myself. Now on the other hand this has changed. I want lots of purple clothes. It’s just too bad I don’t know where most of my old stuff is. Maybe I gave it all away? It’s a lesson learned at least; no matter how sick you are of things, never throw them away! The hunt is on again and I’m looking for all things purple. A purple floral dress or shirt first maybe..?

I love purple for autum winter clothes as a really nice deep colour to contrast all the blacks, greys etc and my own dark hair. I bought quite a few purple items last winter including a bag which I am looking forward to wearing again, and maybe purchasing a few more things that catch my eye!

oooo I love the satins. I think the only purple thing that I have is fishnets and those look ridiculous on me.

I like that you included purple tights on your little photo-collage. I can’t wear purple close to my face, so purple tights would be the perfect additon to the zillion or so black skirts I have. ;) Thanks for the style inspiration!

I did the same thing with black. A little while back I tossed a lot (not all, of course) of my black clothes and tried to add color to my wardrobe.
Foolish me. It wasn’t until later that I realized I LOVE black… and it looks good on me.
So now I have to rebuild my wardrobe again, which has its own rewards. ;)

Purple is fun!
Just keep your favorite pieces. Enough that you won’t be desperate.
