Oxfords
Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Secondhand, Shoes, Shopping

In my search for a pair of masculine shoes, like oxfords, I discovered that vintage Salvatore Ferragamo oxfords are some of the nicest out there. In addition they are often sold for less than $10 and rarely more than $30. I could´t find any of the pointy toed oxfords this time, but I´ve seen them so I know they exist. Above you see shoes from Luella, Karen Walker and at last these from Salvatore Ferragamo. I also found these, these, these and these on a quick search. I however didn´t end up with a pair of Ferragamo this time around but a cognac pair from a different brand. They haven´t arrived yet and I´m not sure they are the perfect ones so I might give it another shot.

I’m in search of them too. And here in Holland I saw them in the Sacha. But ebay has great ones too! Good luck on your search!

check my blog for the oxfords I just got, theyre so nice, and have no laces. I already have two pairs for the upcoming season.
I remember a few years ago when I was in high school and when wingtips were really “in.” Even Doc Martens started making their wing tip shoes. hehe.

Let me know if any of you bid on these shoes!
Eli, your shoes look great. :) I think wingtips are fun. I can´t remember that they ever were in but then I grew up in a very small town where they rarely picked up on things like that.

[…] Filed in: Uncategorized, Fashion, Shopping, Shoes, Secondhand As you all know I´ve been looking for a pair of oxfords and today these arrived in the mail. My goal was a black pair or a two toned pair, but got these for $10 and thought I would give them a shot. They fit perfectly even though the size is all wrong. They are extremely comfortable as bottom and top are padded. The leather looks like it´s in great quality and even though they´re used they show no signs of wear. So, what´s the verdict? I was unsure about them to begin with and I guess I sort of still am, but I can only think of good things to say about them. […]

[…] Filed in: Fashion, Designers, Trend AlertsOn the top of my list when it comes to shoes for spring are oxfords, but platforms in all kinds of shapes will still be very important, only the heel is often not as chunky as last year. […]
