Ok, so I´m not perfect. I´ve been going on and on about how I´ve gotten a more relaxed view on shopping after my clean-up, but today I experienced that I can still make unnecessary buys. To my defense all these things make me very happy.

First of all I bought two rather surprising things. The mysterious headband is fun but hardly needed. I have a net hat that gives a similar look so this is the only item I can´t defend apart from that it may be easier to actually wear than the hat. I haven´t said many nice things about the fedora in the past, but this is the second thing I picked up today. I thought it would go great with some trousers or maybe my oxfords.

Then I got one thing I can defend because it was on the list. A chiffon top. It´s not chiffon at all, but it works for all the purposes I had imagined to use the top I wanted for. And last, but not least, I got an oversized vest. It´s nothing I need but I love it too much to see any reason for returning it. It has a perfect fit, it will go nice with masculine looks and it is great for layering.

After cleaning up the closet I have got a clearer view of what I want and need. To my surprise there aren´t many things on the list and most of these doesn´t feel very critical.

As you all know I´ve been looking for a pair of oxfords and today these arrived in the mail. My goal was a black pair or a two toned pair, but got these for $10 and thought I would give them a shot. They fit perfectly even though the size is all wrong. They are extremely comfortable as the insides are padded all around. The leather looks like it´s in great quality and even though they´re used they show no signs of wear. So, what´s the verdict? I was unsure about them to begin with and I guess I sort of still am, but I can only think of good things to say about them.
