Scarves

As you probably have noticed my new favorite accessory is an old scarf I´ve had for so long that I can´t even remember where it´s from. I wear it with everything. More than I will admit to in my photos. It´s an outfit from Luella´s spring collection that inspired me. I kept thinking I should get more scarves like it. Not exactly the same cause that´s unnecessary, but something similar. I never thought it would be so hard to track down something descent. I did find a few like mine here and here for £2. I found that one of the few alternatives I have are scarves like these. However I didn´t really get enough of the Russian trend last year and I would like a bigger Russian scarf than the one I already have, maybe something like this. This requires some serious thinking… I guess it´s the fringes and the square shape that is the most important.

That 3rd scarf reminds me of the kind I used to see on all of the rebellious teenagers in Prague. It seems to have crossed over to the hipster contingent here (Blue States Lose on Gawker has noticed it). It’s too bad my new winter coat is so high-collared, otherwise I’d wear tons of scarves, too.

Ambika, I know, the 3rd scarf has the same story here, that´s why I´ve always kept away from it even though I think they´re nice…

All of my friends are wearing slightly ripped scarves in that Luella style right now, where one goes, others follow…

Holly, I didn´t wear one! The whole Halloween thing kind of went past me, except from when I was hiding from all the kids who rang the doorbell since I had forgotten to buy candy… :/
Frapp, so true! :)
