Nude Heels
Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Trend Alerts
It has already been pointed out by other bloggers, but beige and nude heels seem to be on their way in. I like best the ones that are as close as possible to your skin tone.

Yeah, I love this color for shoes even beige sometimes gives too simple look but personally i always end up trying this color at the shoes store and another good point having them is they easily match with most of the colors. Nice!

Salinya, I do look forward to a better selection in shoes in this color, then I´ll get myself a pair too, cause they do match most colors as you say.
Kate, good point! I only have a pair of nude boots, but yesterday I decided to give them away as they are a little small.

Haha reminds me of a not-so past experience. My friend was having trouble getting shoes to match her dress, so I offered her a pair of pink heels even though her dress is brown and said ‘Try these, their actually quite nude-looking when their on your feet, they blend in with your skin quite well’. Needless to say I got a few looks, seeing as how my friend in question is Indian…

L’Wren whatever her name is, she of Mick Jagger fame, and has just launched a fashion range called Little Black Dress always makes her clients wear nude shoes because they are so flattering.

Where are the two left-most shoes from? The bottom one reminds me of medieval helmets.

Frapp, haha!
Scarlettholly, I definately need to get a pair!
Andrea, sure, top left is from Doo.Ri and bottom left is from Donna Karan. I was supposed to add all the designers, but then I lost one of them!

[…] What brings this up again? Other bloggers talking about the return of nude heels. Since high school I have considered “leg-color” the single most versatile neutral. I’m afraid that some people, however, consider it an odd, shoeless, uncomfortable look. What about you? […]

[…] In a weak moment I ended up placing a search on eBay for “nude heels”. There wasn´t much out there yet, but I came across these nude Salvatore Ferragamo pumps. The heel hight is all wrong, and the gold bow kind of ruins the look I´m after which is something more in line of the YSL heels pictured here, but there was something about them that appealed to me anyway. At $10 I didn´t even think about it twice before I had put in a bid, but I figured that someone would outbid me pretty fast. No one did. So in a very short amount of time I have bought my two first pairs of Ferragamo shoes, which is apparently the only brand of shoes Marilyn Monroe wore. I hope the quality is as good as I expect it to be. […]
