Thank you very much for featuring my work. At this time I am not able to afford my own designs if I were to see it in a store.
When I first started my collection I used to come up with the most frugal ways of putting affordable materials together so that they are lower priced. Then I realized as a jewelry lover, I want what catches my eye and heart, not an equation of what always adds up to what I can afford. As an artist, I want my work to be rewarding and feed my passion, not just trying to come up with the least cost per design. Often a strand of stones yields only a few suitable stones for a piece. This is especially true for rings.
There are lots of my price range jewelry designs out there, but I need to design my heart’s range jewelry. I want designs I save up for and am welling to own one piece instead of many of others. My goal is to handcraft 18k-22k gold pieces with stones of my heart’s desire. I hope to get there.
