Ferragamo Oxfords

Yesterday I put in a bid for a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo oxfords, and I won at $30. Since my last oxford purchase I couldn´t really let go of the two-toned ones. Karen Walker had some in the spring line that were great. I am slightly concerned that they might be a little clownish, but it´s not a big price to pay to check it out. They´re white and navy, not black like they might look like in the picture.

I keep checking ebay for a pair of spectators, ever since I saw a pic on the sartorialist of a girl wearing Ferragamos. But nothing comes up in my size. Hope yours are to your liking.

i did a search for ’saddle shoes’ on ebay and ended up bidding on these:

The shoes are nice except that curved bit in the middle! im sure u will find some “Agathey” way to pull it off! :-) After all, its how u wear it eh! :-P

Raven, a couple of months ago I saw a lot of them on Ebay, but suddenly there are nearly none. Hopefully it picks up again!

Cordelia, I feel that they look a bit strange on the picture, but that is maybe because of the angle. I really hope they work out.

They look big? I used to have a pair of wingtips in high school over five years ago, I was way ahead of the trend :)

Eli, they´re my normal size which is 9 so they´re not really small, but my other oxfords don´t look big at all. I hope it´s only the angle of the photo.

Great! I just got a pair from a thrift store myself, with slightly higher heels and a broader toe. I think that makes it look more clowny but… I really wanted a pair! Sooo… please let me know how you end up incorporating them into an outfit. I haven’t figured out anything yet!

YY, mine have about one inch heels, so they´re not completely flat even though they look that way. :) I´ll try to figure out something smart with them…
