Jeans

Filed in: Fashion, Shopping

jeans high waisted I went to find a pair of Levi´s 501, but as it turns out, no one sells them. There are the 506, 571, but no 501. Instead my fascination for ugly things reached new heights when I purchased the ugliest jeans ever. Stonewashed, high waisted, super slim jeans from Cheap Monday. I´ve seen them once before and I was horrified by what met the eye. Wondering how I´m going to pull these off? So am I.

I learned one thing though… I always thought high waisted jeans wouldn´t fit my body shape and that my butt would look like it was ten feet long, but it´s not bad at all! The pockets are placed lower than on any other jeans I own which makes it look quite OK.

Blazers

Filed in: Celebs, Fashion

While looking through recent celeb shots I quickly came across several pictures of celebs wearing blazers. Jeans seem to be the piece of clothing to pair it with, something I am all for. I like Selma Blair´s look the most, even though Nicole Richie´s look is quite similar. I think it has something to do with that Selma Blair looks a little like she slept her outfit; it´s a little rock & roll. Kirsten Dunst´s look is completely different with a blazer that looks more like something she found her dad´s closet.

Nude Ferragamo´s

Filed in: Fashion, Shoes

nude beige salvatore ferragamo gold bow heels pumps shoes

In a weak moment I ended up placing a search on eBay for “nude heels”. There wasn´t much out there yet, but I came across these nude Salvatore Ferragamo pumps. The heel hight is all wrong, and the gold bow kind of ruins the look I´m after which is something more in line of the YSL heels pictured here, but there was something about them that appealed to me anyway. At $10 I didn´t even think about it twice before I had put in a bid, but I figured that someone would outbid me pretty fast. No one did. So in a very short amount of time I have bought my two first pairs of Ferragamo shoes, which is apparently the only brand of shoes Marilyn Monroe wore. I hope the quality is as good as I expect it to be.
