My boyfriend has this great sleeveless hoody and I wanted one of my own instead of borrowing his. I bought a regular hoody from American Apparel for this project. They do have sleeveless hoodies readily made, but they don´t look as good, they come in only four colors and the price is the same anyway. Besides, the sleeveless hoody is from the women´s line, while I got the hoody from the men´s line which in my opinion looks much better.

For this project you want to turn the hoody inside out to see the seams better. When cutting you should cut in an arch inwards. The width of the arch depends on how broad your shoulders are and how you want the hoody to look. Don´t be nervous about this point, although it may seem scary it´s very hard to make any big mistakes. To be on the safe side you can make sure to cut a little at a time. It will look good in the end as the fabric will fold where it has been cut so ugly cuts will not show. When you have cut off the first arm, fold it over so that you can see where to cut off the second arm to make it even. Cut the second arm off, and the project is done!
The sleeveless hoody will be perfect for this spring´s sporty looks.
