Walking in 6″ Heels

My boyfriend called me at work today to tell me that my stripper heels had arrived. He´s not very happy about them cause he´s already a couple of inches shorter than me. I on the other hand was very excited and eager to get home to try them on. I´ve been wondering about how they would be to walk in as I´ve never ever had heels this high on my feet. After trying them on for a while I can assure you that it´s not as hard as it looks. If you´re used to wearing heels it shouldn´t be a problem; I walked like normal and I even ran around the apartment while shouting to my boyfriend “Look, I´m running in 6″ heels!”. I must however admit that I am sceptical to walking outdoors with these as I don´t know how I would handle bumps in the sidewalk or other surprises that may occur. I need some more practice to feel as confident in these as I do in other heels.
I can recommend these shoes if you´re thinking of getting something like this. I got them from Shop Allure for $25 and they shipped in about a week. They´re in man made materials, but have pig suede insides that make them very comfortable.

I have a similar pair of 6-inch heels, red patent with victorian multi-straps up the ankle. They are surprisingly comfortable, as you said; the platform makes it a lot easier to walk in.
I would advise caution on stairs. Every single time I wear them to the movies, I stumble. I haven’t fallen yet, but I can imagine it wouldn’t be fun.

They’re Pleaser brand, which along with Ellie are usually the most common in Sex Shops and the like.

wow–kudos to you for trying 6″ heels!! I’ve been eying higher heels myself lately, but I don’t think I could leave the house with something that high on. :p Can’t wait to see the outfits you pair these with!! :)

Wow! Those don’t look nearly as high as 6 inches! I’m still working my way up to 4 inches, so that’s an incredible feat in my book! They look divine!

i wear six in heels, with no platform, no one can tell you how, just put on what you buy, and practice practice practice, nothing else can help
