I´m spending a lot of time playing around with clothes and characters these days which may be the reason for why I haven´t posted that many pictures lately. Anyway, here´s what is really going on here. I guess I can blame it on spring, good mood and loads of Cava. At least I´m having fun.

I want a hot pink jacket, much like this one from Carlos Miele, only I want mine to be in leather. It´s been a long time since I felt so strongly about something. It may be because I´ve already found the perfect one. It was made from an 80´s leather coat and turned into a jacket so cool that it was only worthy a rock star. Unfortunately I neither have the style nor the money of a rock star and I had to leave it behind. Instead I´m looking for a substitute which I hope to find on eBay, like everything else I want but don´t know where to look for.

The way the sleeves are pulled up is the most important detail of all.

Are you ready for the return of the shoulder pads? Whether or not this will turn into a trend is hard to tell, but the designers are fondling with the idea. I wouldn´t mind seeing a new shape for a change.

I started watching Twin Peaks again today and I was excited to notice Audrey Horne in a pair of oxfords that she wears with a plaid skirt. Later that episode she changes them for a pair of red pumps so I guess they aren´t her favorite pair of shoes (more of a way to hide the bad girl in her), but it I found inspiration in the outfit anyway. The web cam totally screws up the colors, but it doesn´t really matter cause I don´t feel very creative today anyway.

So, I went to buy nail polish and ended up with a little more than that. Sun was shining and I guess it made it easier to get carried away. With a latte in my hand I went on my mission, during which I was stalked by two poodle rockers. Unfortunately they never came up to me or I´d have given them both a big hug for looking so cool. After spending way too much money I sat down in a park to put on my new nail polish. I felt pretty satisfied with my purchases even though I don´t need any of it.

The t-shirt is kind of pink/orangeish and goes really wide at the bottom. The hot pink thingies are leggings. Somehow my fascination for leggings starts when everybody else are sooo over them. I also ended up with another pink lipstick, neon yellow and pink nail polish and a bunch of vividly colored elastics.

I never thought I´d get all crazy about neon, but after putting on these earrings today I felt a sudden urge to go get a neon nail polish. My hot pink nail polish just isn´t hot enough. Unfortunately my web cam kills everything neon.

Fashion Files wrote about the Palestinian scarves and about a shop that sell them in all sorts of colors. The original ones feel a little old to me as they´ve been everywhere for quite a while. Lately however I´ve seen some girls wear them in hot pink, and I wouldn´t mind one of my own.

There were fur vests all over the place and I am going to keep my eyes open for one when I go thrift shopping.

I had planned on wearing a lot of long skirts last fall/winter, but I haven´t worn one once. When it comes down to it I just don´t feel comfortable in them although I often used to wear them when I was younger. Seeing these images of Ashley Olsen reminded me of my plan. I guess part of the problem is exactly that I used to wear long skirts many years ago, and they would make me feel like a rebellious 15 year old again.

I´m cooking Thai food for dinner and I´m wearing the slip I bought a few months ago with the intention of wearing as a dress.
