    Mom is sewing my wedding dress, so I’m partly desingning it myself, or rather mixing and matching different patterns and changing details. It will be very exciting. :)

    Smoking is very fashionable. As is designing your own wedding dress, which brings me to my next point.

    I am INSANELY jealous of you, getting to design your own wedding dress! I bet it will be the best one to date. I have never been interested in bridal gowns before, as they are all really boring or classic (another word for boring) or just… plain. But knowing your style, I bet your dress will be amazingly creative without being overwhelmingly extravagant.

    I am also jealous that you have a seamstress mum. That is the coolest.

    Sullen Girl: How is smoking fashionable? Is it desirable to severely increase your risk of lung cancer? To inhale dangerous toxins and chemicals? Do you realise that in the US alone over 1200 people die each day due to the effects of smoking?
    I am astounded that any person in this day and age, given the ubiquitous anti-smoking advertising campaigns, could unashamedly declare smoking “fashionable”.

    chee: it was a joke. Perhaps you’ve heard the term before…

    I am well aware of the adverse effects of smoking. I am also a big fan of not telling a person what to do in a comment on a blog, as li wanyu did when she she said “dun smoke.” Thanks for the statistics though, I’d been meaning to look up mortality rates.
