Headbands

Lately I’ve seen several girls wearing headbands like these girls from Face Hunter and Oslostil, and I think it looks cool. I’ve been testing different kinds of head wear lately, so maybe this should be my next project? I don´t feel quite ready for it yet though; I have to play around with it for a while first.

Spotted it too lately, and already tried it out actually. A turban makes me look so small so I thought this would rather be a good ’substitute’. got loads of compliments on it so I think ‘the world’ is yet ready

I wonder if this look is all about the attitude, because I think I look mentally challenged when I wear them! Or maybe my hair is just too slippery to keep the headband on…would you use bobby pins to keep it in place?

Irene, you´re probably right, it´s all about the attitude. I don´t know if I´ll need bobby pins; my hair is so dry at the moment…

i live in the US where the whole headband thing hasnt really caught on yet. being as i am though, i have been sporting them for several months. surprisingly they go with just about any outfit and style and always add an edge

yeah i do think its about the attitude, there is nothing really revolutionary about those headbands. They remind me of people in the 80’s that work out at the gym. And i think these headbands will be really easy for you to pull of considering that you already look great in a very hard to pull of turban.

I was at H&M yesterday and for fun I pulled a headband over my head, and my bf reacted by sayng that the look wasn’t for me, I didn’t have the right face for it. :) We’ll see though, he has been wrong about other things, but I fear he might be right about this one…

i think you would look great with one. I made one out of a sequence belt that was in style like 4 years ago and now i look at it and want to cut it all up..so i did and made it into a “flapper” headband and it worked out great. i just tie it in the back but, you could always sew it!

i never go out without my headband…i have a kelly green one…
