Sequins
Filed in: Designers, Fashion, Trend Alerts
I wrote about sequins a few months ago when the DKNY show inspired me to get a sequin dress, but I don´t think I mentioned just how much I love them. They were all over the fall collections and the sight of them makes me ache for more. Sequined garments can be expensive though, so the best bet is secondhand. I have been searching eBay and thrift shops for months only to end up with nothing aside from the dress. I am checking out some auctions right now, so my luck may change soon.

Emanuel Ungaro, DKNY, Chanel and Marc Jacobs.

I have a request that is completely unrelated to this post. I am intrigued by the din sko shoes that you have. I went to their website and I really like a lot of their shoes. I saw that they are from sweden, but are they only available in the Scandinavian countries? I am in the States and would love to get my hands on some. I also am not entirely sure on the prices, as I do not know the current conversion rates. How much do you typically pay for your shoes from Din Sko?

I saw some sequin dresses at ASOS. There’s this one http://www.asos.com/Keisha-Buchanan/Keisha-Sequin-Jersey-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=147316&cid=3720 and this one http://www.asos.com/Nicole-Richie/Nicole-Sequin-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=172090&cid=3720 and a sequined top too.
I’m a long-time reader, but this is my first comment. I adore your blog and your fantastic style:)

My new thing is sequins too, but I’m having a hard time dressing them down for not so flashy occasions.
