Shopping Again

I went shopping again today but this time only for secondhand stuff. I got my hands on three bags, first a tooled leather bag…
…then a makeup bag that I´ll be using as a handbag…
…and at last a SAS bag. These are very popular in Scandinavia and I got one for $3! I´ll probably end up fixing it up and giving it to my fiance as I rarely wear bags like these.
I also got three hats, one beret and two knitted beret style hats, along with two beautiful scarves, one of them in silk.
But the best of it all was this sailor uniform shirt. It´s vintage and comes from the Soviet Union. My fiance got one in dark blue so we once again can be the matching couple. I´ll take better pictures as soon as I´ve ironed it.

oh, I love sailor uniforms! but I’ve never come across any at flea markets or secondhands :-(. a blue+white striped marimekko shirt will have to do for now.
love the first and the sas bag, not so sure about the middle one ;-).

I wasn´t sure about the middle bag when I first spotted it either, but now it´s become my favorite out of the three! :)

i am envying all of your secondhand finds…i truly wish they had thrift stores in seoul! -_- i really love the beige beret that you got by the way, it’s gorgeous, how much was it?
when i saw the sailor outfit- i immediately thought- sailor moon! did you ever see any of the animations? lol :p perhaps you can go along with that concept when you coordinate that outfit:)

I bought several items from the same seller, but I´m guessing it was around $3. It´s quite thick and looks a little like a muffin top. ;) Hadn´t heard about Sailor moon, but my fiance is an animator and I asked him about it and he knows what it´s all about. :)

But I realy wonder where you bouth them? I’m looking for some good secondhand shops in Oslo, but I can’t seem to find any good ones…

Oh my, my mom used to dress me in sailor outfits all the time when I was little. That was such an odd time for me.

Sunniva, disse tingene er fra markedet på Birkelunden. Finner som regel noe fint der! Ellers har jeg en post et eller annet sted hvis du søker på “secondhand shopping oslo” med en del butikker, selv om jeg har glemt en del ser jeg i ettertid.
Siewkwan, the print does look a little Chinese, but the fabric is all wrong (a little like velvet) and gives it another look too.

Du kan jo prøvesynge for Sølvguttene! :) Veldig kult med matrostrøye. Jeg hadde en da jeg var yngre, men den er nok dessverre for liten. Hvor kjøpte du alt dette?

Alt er fra markeded på Birkelunden som er åpent hver søndag. Veldig mange av tingene jeg poster her er derfra! :)

Oh my gosh, what finds! I’ve been resisting buying any handbags since I just ordered a *big* one wholesale thru a friend. Maybe I should stop resisting!
