Pleasant Shopping

Finding leather jackets from the 80´s is easy, there seems to be a ton of them at every thrift shop there is. Finding one that looks nice however is hard. When I went shopping today I found this totally 80´s black and blue leather jacket that I tried on just for fun. When I looked in the mirror I went “huh, that looks kind of cool”. The price wasn´t bad either - $25. I guess they thought it was too ugly for any sane person to buy it as they´re usually priced much higher. So I ended up getting it. OK, it´s kind of hideous, but I like it.
Later, at a flea market, I came across a snake necklace. I´ve seen these on others and I love them, but I´ve never seemed to find one before. I was prepared for it to cost at least $10, but the lady only wanted $1. When I paid for it she said “why don´t you pick something else as well, for free”. So I got a gold leaf brooch.
It´s raining today, after several days of sun, and people usually get quite cranky. Today it´s been the other way around. At another thrift shop, there was this older female customer that kept picking out clothes for me. She found nice old slips and robes that she thought would look nice. They all were nice, but I didn´t end up buying any of them. It was such a sweet thing to do though.
