Princess can do whatever she wants to do and today she wanted to be a designer. Her loyal servant also joined her in her pursuit to create everlasting beautiful pieces. Someone else would have to sew them of course, but then princess day is coming to an end and there are no seamstresses in the kingdom at the moment.

I haven´t actually tried drawing like this since I was like twelve but it was fun, even though my drawing skills have faded over the years. My husband wants us to buy sewing mannequins to try make our own clothes. He has got loads more ideas than I do! He did these sketches:

I was tired after work today so my husband made up this new concept, it would be princess day! Of course a princess can wear whatever what she wants and doesn´t have to dress down, but I chose a rather simple outfit and decided to wear a tiara instead.

It´s always a thrill to see what Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs come up with, which makes this the most exciting day so far.

Anna Sui

This collection really breakes with a lot of the more grown up looks we´ve seen. If you manage to ignore the vivid hair colors, there are a lot of great prints in this collection. I love the knitted vests that top several of the outfits off. Socks in sandals is always a winner in my book.

Marc Jacobs

A very messy collection. Messy clothes, messy hair, messy presentation. It´s one of those collections that has to sink in a bit before I can really wrap my head around it. But oh how delightful some of it is!
