Mohop
I have welcomed fall after a rainy summer and I´ve been quite pleased that the air is starting to get cooler. Sometimes I wish summer was still here though, like when I received these Mohop shoes. I do have readers from all over the world though, so while I have to wait to actually wear them, some of you are lucky enough to live in a warmer climate.
Mohop are handmade wooden strappy sandals that come in different heel heights and different shapes. I have the mid heel height with the square toe and they´re very comfortable to wear. While each of these shoes are beautifully made and have nice prints and colors, that´s not really the genius part. The best thing about these shoes is the lacing. Each pair comes with 5 pairs of ribbons, meaning you kind of have 5 shoes in one. You can change the straps to suit your mood or your outfit. And if the 5 pairs aren´t enough, you can lace the shoes with any laces you must have lying around. The shoes also came with a little booklet explaining all kinds of way you can lace your shoes, from the extravagant lacing up your entire calves or to the simple slip in kind of way. The shoes are $185 which isn´t much considering all the ways you can wear them.
My shoes are on the picture above (they´re actually navy although they look more like black here), but since I don´t feel like flashing my bare feet on the Internet just now, I include some photos from the shop so you can see some of their many possibilities.
Update: In case you didn´t notice the link in the comments field, here you can get a few overstock Mohops for a much lower price. Also check out Little Pink Dress for great vintage cothing.
