Antler Necklace
Filed in: DIY, Fashion, Jewelry
I came across a deer antler at the flea market today that I got for a dollar which was the perfect basis for a DIY project.
At first I had no idea what to make out of it, but then I came to think of the Alex + Chloe necklaces that I had been looking at several times without actually buying anything. I liked the antler necklaces the best.
So I had my husband saw the antler in smaller pieces. The biggest still quite huge, the smallest more in the line of what Alex + Chloe make. Then I drilled holes in two of the pieces. Easy peasy. All you need is a man with a saw and a drill. I haven´t finished the biggest of the necklaces yet, but the smallest is actually the nicest one.

I did that some time ago too! great idea, no? Also, there are so many things you can use on necklaces! I actually wore a piece of wood once, that randomly found it while walking:)

so lovely! the only thing which may keep me back from doing that is the pointy tips of the antler >

That is such a great Idea.
Have you ever thought of making a hair clip out of the leftover pieces.
That would look so nice.
