Vintage Buys
Filed in: Fashion, Secondhand, Shopping
I haven´t posted my latest buys in a while, so here are some of them. I feel like I´m shopping too much these days, at the same time I´m a little bored with what I wear. The easy fix is new clothes while it would be better to try combining things in new ways. However, there are some things I lack. I often find it hard to wear skirts in a nice way. I thought it meant that I needed more skirts, but what I really need is tops. I need to put a little extra money in some tops that are versatile but still have got something extra to them. I also need floral items but it´s not the easiest thing to find this time of year. My goal is now to shop little but well. I´ve never managed to go all in for the idea of quality before quantity. There´s always so much that I want that I end up getting a little of everything. It doesn´t mean that I don´t care about quality, I´m just not one of those people to manage to buy a couple of great long lasting items a month instead of picking up every single item I fall for. Oh well, I´ll take it step by step.
What I have gotten lately however is this vintage skirt. The tag reads “31% metal” which I found rather funny since metallic rarely means metal when it comes to clothes.
I also got something that is probably 99% metal (everything except the piping) and very heavy. It´s a top with a matching necklace or whatever you´d call that thing. It was too strange to pass up and I think it might look good worn as a vest.
At last I got a reversible bubble jacket. I´ve never owned one and I´ve always hated them. For some reason this one got to come back home with me.
