Second Attempt
I gave the socks another go today (thanks for great help guys) and I´ve found one way to wear them without them falling down; by wearing tights underneath. They will fall down eventually anyway, but it slows the process down considerably. I made it to the grocery store and back with a short stop for the picture, and when I got home they were almost still in place. I do like them scrunching down, like many of you pointed out as well, but it´s more the icky feeling of something sliding down all the time that bothers me.

Oh, I love that look! Lovely with purple tights underneath, it goes really well with the grey socks.

sockdreams.com sells adjustable elastic sock garters. I use them when I am walking somewhere and when I get where I’m going and will be sitting down for awhile I take them off. They look pretty easy to make too.

i love the volume of the skirt and the colour combination with grey and purple, its so cute and classy at the same time…
when i was in school, i used to have these glues for socks and its a non messy glue, and its great for socks that always come down. i remember they were japanese, but i think its pretty hard to find them, i found mine in hong kong.

wear a garter belt you know those things worn over underwear that women would keep their stockings up with…they would deffinitly hold up your socks.

I tried wearing socks over leggings, and that worked really great too. Love the combination of gray and purple by the way!

Gorgeous outfit! I feel like a little devil in this comment section but… the shoes don’t match. Your outfit would be really top notch if you would have worn pumps or mary-janes with it. My personal opinion of course.
