An Early Start

I sometimes wonder what makes some people so interested in clothes while other couldn´t care a rats ass about what they put on, even though we´re all a part of the fashion cycle in one way or another. For my part I think my mom can have had something to do with it. She loved dressing up me and my sisters in cute outfits, often clothes she had made herself. This picture is of me and my two youngest sisters, me to the far right. Later on I remember that we also wore some secondhand, which was unusual at the time. I didn´t like it then, but it must have affected me too. It´s my first entry to the world of fashion, when I still wasn´t too aware of what it really meant to me. Later on completely different factors lead me to put an extra weight on clothes in the way I expressed myself, but that´s a whole different story…

It’s funny because my mom did the exact same thing with me and my two sisters. We would dress like twins, it was emberrasing! But funny.

I thought my obsession with clothes comes from me not having nice ones during my childhood.
Now it turns out that having nice ones will make you a fashion connaiseur.Anyway we all are pretty cuteAnd the little sister with the pacifier…uau !!

Lovely! You were so lucky. My mom used to dress me in some dull clothes (and the glasses, ugh!), not feminine at all (but she thought they were ok) and I then had to find my own way to bring out some prettiness from myself :-)

my mom was never interested
in fashion and I used to walk
around like a boy, in jeans with
holes in it. that is maybe why I am
a fashion addict now…
my mother still doesn’t understand
me and my way of dressing :D
