Style Bytes is in this month´s Kamille! For those of you who are new to this blog: First of all, welcome! Secondly, as I am in the middle of buying an apartment and moving, there´s been a little less activity here than usual. As soon as I am settled, things will be back on track again.
Update: I forgot to put it up in the post, but apparently I am in a Russian magazine call Afisha as well!

From blogroll spam to no blogroll at all… In case you haven´t noticed, the list of links to the right seem to have gone missing. This blog is really in the need of upgrading, I´m just waiting for a little assistance. Hopefully the blogroll isn´t gone for good or else I have quite a job to do finding all the links again.
I´ve spent the evening packing yet more stuff, and finding yet more things to give away. One good thing about all the physical work is that I don´t have to take the cold weather into consideration.

I finally got around to buy pyramid studs yesterday when stopping buy a shop selling military effects. I bought the clutch at a secondhand shop months ago for a few dollars. Since it took me so long to get around to finish the planned project, I had been looking at similar bags in stores, but what annoys me is that they always use gold studs, it kind of ruins the look for me. I had hoped that the final result of my own creation would be a little more dramatic. Adding another row of studs might help, but even though it didn´t end up looking quite like I had hoped for, I am still content with it.
For weeks I have only been shopping for the new apartment. After spending $650 on a lamp earlier this week, and that was the cheapest of the lamps we´ve bought, I started thinking of all the clothes I was missing out on. So today I went out to buy stuff for me. I ended up with a silk shirt, make-up and some other stuff. Nothing major, but it felt great with a little treat for myself.

I´m so sick of living in a messy apartment full of boxes. Today´s outfit is a simple one. More and more of my clothes are being packed leaving less and less to choose from. But there´s still two or three weeks to go.

Say what you want, these are my new shoes for winter! Super warm and super comfortable. They were made for many many decades at my hometown Nesna in Northern Norway. A while ago though they stopped producing them and I was bummed out that the only pair I had were a size too big. Last week a girl at work told me she had a pair that was a size too small. It turned out that I had her size while she had mine, so we swapped! Now I finally have my own pair which will be perfect to and from work when I never bother to even think of wearing heels.

The new skirts are the ones with lots of volume that end well below your knee. Might take a little time getting used to, but I am already in love with the looks from Prada and Marni.

Prada, Fendi, Marni, Moschino, Jason Wu and Behnaz Sarafpour.

Like always, I keep you posted on the Threadless sales, and now there seems to be another one. I found out when I was about to order the above t-shirt that I have had my eye on for a while. If you don´t find anything for yourself it´s the perfect Christmas gift, only $10 a tee! (The select tees are a little more.)
A messy apartment and a nosey pig made it a strange shot. I am wearing my new sequin skirt. A couple of months ago I bought a vintage sequin top from eBay planning to wear it as a skirt. Sadly the top was too short to cover my butt. Today I found this top at Gina Tricot which makes a perfect skirt.

The open toe boots are a strange invention, making something perfectly practical completely impractical. You can´t wear them when it rains or when it´s cold. But still I love these shoes. It first started with Balenciaga´s fall collection, and with a pair of tights underneath like here, they´ll work even in this cold weather…
Then, in the spring shoes they popped up again in more shows and more ways, from the plain ones, here from Dolce & Gabbana, Abaeté and Cynthia Rowley…
…to the more alternative ones like from Balenciaga, Zero Maria Cornejo and Etro.
Now these are trend items and will probably not last long, so the only way I´m getting a pair is if I come across one that doesn´t cost too much.

It´s been a busy week and the main reason is our new pet Molvin named after my grandfather.
And now I´m going to a party wearing my Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes, navy tights, Vintage Amore dress and Dior clutch.
Sorry about the bad photos. After today I´ll have more time for the blog, apart from the actual moving of course, this has just been a crazy week.
