Nesnalobben
Say what you want, these are my new shoes for winter! Super warm and super comfortable. They were made for many many decades at my hometown Nesna in Northern Norway. A while ago though they stopped producing them and I was bummed out that the only pair I had were a size too big. Last week a girl at work told me she had a pair that was a size too small. It turned out that I had her size while she had mine, so we swapped! Now I finally have my own pair which will be perfect to and from work when I never bother to even think of wearing heels.

well, what kind of job IS your job that you and your college wear those shoes? anyway, pretty much fancy though.

Those look so cozy. I look forward to seeing what you pair them with!

So cosy!
i’d also like to know what do you wear at work, cause i always have a problem what to put on to look smart, but trendy at the same time.

Eva, I work as a secretary at a psychiatric hospital! I love it there, but it´s not what I want to do in the future.
Asiancajuns, thanks!
Annie, I mostly wear jeans and t-shirts which is the reason I rarely post those outfits. I suck at accessorizing in the morning, I usually just throw on a scarf.

I used to work at a psychiatric hospital myself. I was a teacher for inpatient children. I got burned out. Anyhoo, those shoes look like they were made in OZ(the land of Dorothy not the prison)! I like them as an alternative to the ever unattractive UGGs.

Sorry for my ignorance, but do you wear them over your other shoes? Like a warm cover? I have never seen anything like them!

Agathe: I assume you change shoes when you get to work? Those look like they’d be too warm indoors. =)

Jeg tror ikke jeg får lov til å gå med sånne sko på jobb jeg..

Those are some crazy shoes. I love them! I can’t wait to see you wearing them in an outfit. You must have great shoe karma to pull off such an easy swap.

Out. Of. This. World.!

they’re lovely but aren’t they leaking when it rains outside? are they supposed to be worn just on socks? they seem to be big enough to have more than one foot inside!:)

Emily, I have pretty cold feet so that’s no problem! :)
Hannah, no idea, sorry!
Night, not at all! The wool is so thick that it takes a lot for them to get wet. They’re mostly suitable for the coldest of days though, and then it won’t be raining. ;)

I saw this post and about died. THOSE ARE SO CUTE! If you google Nesna lobben boots, alot of retailers seem to carry ones similar to those. I found a pair of tall black ones I want.

Those shoes are too cute! It’s so difficult to find something sturdy and warm enough for cold climates.
