Black Eyeliner
Filed in: Beauty, Celebs, Fashion
The massive black eyeliner like Amy Winehouse wears seems to be turning into a trend. I never would have guessed seeing that it´s quite out of the ordinary.
On my way home today I ended up getting a black liquid eyeliner. The inspiration wasn´t Amy Winehouse though, but Cleopatra as my new haircut kind of reminded me of her.
I got the Lancôme Liner Design, which I was told by the sales woman at the first shop I went to, was sold out all over town because it was so good. I did find it the next shop I went to though so I´m not sure if she was being sincere. It is however very good, the color is much more saturated than the one I tried from Chanel, and the felt tip makes it really easy to put on.

Hi Agathe.. love the new hair!
i’ve never tried the lancome eyeliner, but lately i have started using MAC liquid eyeliner which is awesome!
I find it easier to use a thin brush tip (as opposed to the felt tip) and this MAC eyeliner is super waterproof as well. Eyeliner survived thru my sisters veryy tearful wedding so i’d recommend it A+ as well..
Have a great weekend :) xx

Thank you for the heads up! I might try it the next time. I have some eyeshadows from MAC that I love and wear every day, but unfortunately they don´t sell MAC many places in Norway.

i know this sounds gross but i’ve been working on the same chanel ligne thing, for ten years.
i wear liquid black eyeliner a lot,(since high school… think early 90’s) and there’s barely a dent.
i also used a brush to paint a zoro-like mask with it for halloween.
black eyeliner, once you master it, it’s hard to let go.

I like the way Lily Allen does her liquid liner. It’s a little less intense. Oh and has anyone seen Miss Winehouse’s new blonde hair do? Not really flattering.

Oh, thank you for putting me back in!
XOXOXO
I’m glad it wasn’t a comment on the quality of my Coco and armgina posts.

Have you seen Amy Winehouse’s new ‘do? I wouldn’t have thought that her thick eye-liner would work with short blond hair, but I think she looks great.

I love eyeliner too, I wear it since I was 16!
I use a liquid one, but now I would try the gel eyeliner from Calvin Klein. I saw a girl on a magazine wearing it and it’s so deep colored and shiny, a wonderful effect.

Your new haircut reminded me of Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra as well. It would be great if you do her dramatic eyeliner from the movie.
