that’s a great idea…i love boy-meet-girl looks…and the sweater is more casual than a blazer.
i enjoy your blog so much because of its personal touch. You shouldn’t feel any pressure on what your posts should be about. it’s too bad if you’re feeling it stressful.
just keep posting what you want and I’ll keep reading…;)
Mmm, jeg har en lignende i svart, og elsker å kombinere den med feminine detaljer selv om jeg stort sett bruker den til jeans. F.eks. perlebånd, blomstrete bluse innom…
Hi, i always love reading your blog, and I adore your piggy too! i love it for your unique and personal outlook on style, and how you’ve managed to keep this personal touch as your blog’s grown in popularity.
I bought one 2 years ago at H&M (on sale for $5!) just because I was cold and feeling blah, but now I wear it more often and see it as more than just a rolling around the house item.
how do you feel when a relative or a acquaintance read your blog??
Sometimes you write personal toughts but this is an open letter for anyone, i mean, is it cool or bad for you!?
What a coincidence! I just made this outfit (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=689086) like a week ago and was thinking how much i liked the sweatshirt and the feminine skirt look! Loove your blog and seeing your piggie! Good luck on the organization!
CKane alway does great casualwear. Not sure about these tops as such, but the combo sport/delicate definately works. (R u looking for a heather colored sweatshirt?)
:)
These fit and drape more like wool or cashmere, but then again I always buy sweatshirts in the men’s departments and as a result look like a boxer ready for the ring.
I like the darker charcoal color here, but that’s personal preference. I find that it works better with lighter skin tones.
Great look - I’ve been doing this myself for awhile. I have vintage sweatshirts - ones from the 60s or so. They’re much much much better quality and drape to them, they just look cooler and add texture. Let me know if you are interested in one, as we are getting ready to list some more in our store!
i am a sucker for a perfect grey sweatshirt. i have a collection of vintage versions similar to your choices above. they look elegant when worn right. love them.
I just bought one a while ago from American Apparel after I saw Mary Kate Olson and Kate Moss wearing the same one. It’s a bit boxy, but it’s supposed to be that way. I feel like with all of my crazy girly and printed outfits, it’s the perfect complement.
I’ve only recently begun reading your blog and just wanted to let you know that I truly enjoy it. I’m glad to have found some new inspiration for my wardrobe, and as I’m a single struggling mum who shops most exclusively thrift, I absolutely love that you use so much thrift yourself!
You and your baby pig have made my day! I often buy sweats from the school uniform shop, French Toast: http://www.frenchtoast.com. They have inexpensive, yet surprisingly fun, clothing.
I have a lovely cashmere ‘heather’ grey jumper from Marks and Spencer’s men’s range from the UK - I don’t know how their overseas shipping is, but they do have a slightly v-necked one in the collezione range atm. They also have it in the lambswool range if the £49 quid price tag is too steep - the lambswool one is £29 - or in the supersoft, blue harbour range, there is a £9.50 one! There is one for £29 in the womenswear section but i always buy from the mens as they’re longer and floppier…
good luck!!!

Dear Agathe:

how do you feel when a relative or a acquaintance read your blog??
Sometimes you write personal toughts but this is an open letter for anyone, i mean, is it cool or bad for you!?

the heavy sweater and the super-light skirt would be too top-heavy..
